JOB OPPORTUNITY

Good News Church is seeking a head pastor whose preaching and counseling is rooted in God’s Word, and one who teaches from a Reformed perspective. We are searching for a shepherd who is called to serve New York City and minister to its people, understanding the challenges of living and raising families in the city. Since we are a Christian Reformed Church, the pastor should adhere to the Three Forms of Unity.

Good News Church is a small, close-knit community who strives to humbly love one another and foster a spiritual home across multi-generations. Our young families travel to the East Village predominantly from across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, and we have a growing children’s ministry and youth group. Children worship jointly with adults before parting for Sunday school, as we pray and hope to lead by example and raise up the next generation of worshipers who love the Lord with all their hearts.

Planted in 2007, Good News Church exists to know Christ and make him known through gathered worship, preaching of the Word, administration of the sacraments, grace-filled communities, personal evangelism, global missions, and seeking the good of the city.
